Sitara-e-Imtiaz awarded to Dr Nizam-ud-Din VC of UoG
Dr. Muhammad Nizamuddin (Vice Chancellor of UoG) has been awarded President’s Award of Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his enormous services in the field of education. Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Star of Excellence) is the third highest civil award of Pakistan.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin is a world renowned educationist and administrator. He has served United Nations in different countries. Before coming to Pakistan, he was part of faculty of University of Columbia (USA). He is Vice Chancellor of University of Gujrat since last 7 years.
Presently, he has various other assignments beside his main duty as VC of University of Gujrat. Some of his additional assignments include:

- He has also assisted to the Government of Punjab for Community Colleges, Associate Degree Program and introduction of 4 years degree program in 26 colleges of Punjab.
